[FAQ}

What do we do if we’d like to book you?

After our consultation I will send you a booking form, and to secure your date all you need to do is fill it out and send it back to me along with your £200 booking fee.  All this can be easily done online.

What style of photography do you offer?

I aim to provide a visual story of the day, so my style is very much reportage/documentary. That said many family and clients do request the traditional portrait, and I will happily plan these into the day. I wouldn’t recommend any more than 6-8 groups, which shouldn’t take more than 20-25 minutes.

When do we need to pay you?

Any remaining balance is due to have cleared in my account 28 days on or before your wedding date.

How Far do you travel?

There’s no limit. I can travel all over the UK and internationally for destination weddings. When it comes to the UK, I pay for all travelling expenses within 100 miles of my address (£200 if over this distance).

How many Photographers will there be on the day?

Usually just me, I prefer to shoot on my own as this best suits my photography. I tend to  move around a lot, quite often guests can feel uneasy with two sets of cameras being pointed at them, also a second shooter can easily pop up in the background of images which isn’t ideal. That said I completely understand that sometimes you might prefer it or it might be necessary to have a second shooter, if required a second shooter is charged at £300 for the day.

How many photographs will you take and how many will we see?

I have no fixed number. I usually take 1500+ photographs, but this can depend on lots of factors, like the number of locations throughout the day, timings, and the amount of time between the ceremony and wedding breakfast. for a full day you can usually expect 400+ images. Only duplicates, Images with very poor light, or where I may have caught you at an unflattering angle, will be deleted.

Do you take formal group shots as well as candid photo’s?

Yes, and as quickly as possible! I would recommend a pre arranged list of no more than 6 groups which should only take a maximum of 20-25 minutes.  I also like to ask an usher to help round up the necessary guests so that I can get everything sorted as quickly as possible for you.

Do we need to feed you?

I'm more than happy to provide my own food… but, I'd never turn down the offer of a delicious meal!

When will we be able to see our photographs?

I upload your full set of images to your personal private gallery on my website for yourselves, family and friends to view, within 4-6 weeks. I’ll also email you a private link to your full res images for you to download them.

Can we print our pictures?

Certainly! The copyright of the images remains with the photographer, however I license my clients with the right to produce the images for their personal use. The only thing you cannot do is use them for commercial re-sale.

do you do engagement or Pre-Wedding shoots?

I certainly do! It’s perfect for anyone who is nervous about being photographed, as once you’ve seen the results from the shoot you’ll have no fears or worries left about the formal photography part of your wedding day. It’s a really informal shoot which by the end you will have relaxed in front of the camera and I will have learned how best to photograph you on your wedding day. These are charged at £150 for a one hour session.

What Camera do you use?

I use two professional Nikon cameras, and an assortment of high performance lenses.
